Trouble at Torin Part III “Huh?” Gregory asked as he put the fork to his mouth. Gregory, Henry, and Mary were sitting at the small table. The night’s meal: Ham with mashed potatoes in chicken gravy, with green beans on the side. As they sat around the table, they discussed various issues, one of which caught Gregory by surprise. “I said ‘what’s it like to live on the mainland?’” Henry asked. Trouble at Torin -Part II- “Welcome! Welcome!” A woman greeted at the entrance to the small tavern.
The Wanderer was basically a small, two-story, six-room house with three of the rooms, located on the second floor, open to travelers for a fee. Most of the time, other Islanders would stay at these Taverns, but sometimes a Mainlander or two would spend a night here, provided they pay a “heavy tax” for their stay. “So you’re Gregory, I take it? Trouble at Torin -Part 1-     This story takes place in the small village of Torin, located off the coast of Anarlis. The small village’s population is estimated to be around three-hundred people. The village lives in peaceful harmony, un-phased by the horrors of the mainland.
     That is, of course, until one teen shatters that quiet way of life.
     The story gives a brief glimpse into the events transpiring in Torin after a seventeen-year old male by the name of Gregory Greenfield is found mortally wounded outside the village.

Happy July 4th!

Happy July 4th, everyone!

The trip down was not very eventful, just a few things here and there.

We tried to go into Rehoboth, but couldn't find a parking space and had to avoid aggressive drivers! O_o

We're gonna try and go to the pool today, get some food at Cape Shores, and then stop in at the bookstore and attempt to grab a trolly to Rehoboth.

I'll try and remember to post some more today.

[Edit: July 4th, 2009 6:48 P.M.] Just got out of the shower after going into the pool. Seems that I threw my arm slightly while swimming. The hot water helped relieve the pain a bit.

We plan on going to the local Grotto's Pizza restaurant on Route 1 for dinner, then heading over to the Cape Shores pier to watch the fireworks. Too many people in Rehoboth to even find a parking spot! D:
